Sanwa Kagaku Kenkyusho, a member of the Suzuken Group

Sanwa Kagaku Kenkyusho, as a member of the healthcare product development division of the Suzuken Group, is a research and development-based pharmaceutical company dedicated to the development of innovative medicines.

We aim to create new value by leveraging our capabilities in drug discovery and development, cultivated in the fields of diabetes and kidney diseases, while bringing together diverse knowledge and technology through open innovation. Our parent company, Suzuken, was the first pharmaceutical wholesaler in the industry to implement a comprehensive support business for rare diseases. To maximize the synergy of these efforts, we also focus on developing treatments for rare diseases that address "overlooked medical needs."

Additionally, to promote the proper use of pharmaceuticals and diagnostic medicines, our MRs (medical representatives), Sanwa Kagaku Digital MRs®, and the Suzuken Group's MSs (Marketing Specialists) collaborate to provide comprehensive medical information. By utilizing digital transformation (DX) and adapting flexibly to changes in work environments and methods, we achieve more effective information provision, collection, and proposals.
